4-hours each in Oct & Nov '22, and Jan, Feb & June 2023, with a 4-hour course review and Graduation Day
in Sept 2023.
Aimed at qualified and near qualified therapists, this highly praised advanced course delivers all the skills required to become an accomplished Jungian Sand Therapist.

Combined with the required number of practice and supervision hours it qualifies successful participants for full accreditation with the Association for Jungian Sand Therapy in Ireland.

The course is delivered on a group and one-to-one basis over a 12-month period beginning with a group Introduction and Orientation module in September 2022.

Learning is via sandplay sessions alternated with theory and supervision sessions. Comprehensive course notes are also provided.
Participants must complete 15 personal sand trays over the period of the course and facilitate the same number with a single client. The latter form the basis for a required full case history presentation towards the end of  the term.

The course is mainly experiential but there are some written assignments along with a comprehensive structured reading programme that explores the work of, amongst others, Margaret Lowenfeld, Dora Kalff and Carl Jung.

COURSE REVIEWS
What previous participants have said about this course...
I found the whole course useful from the first day to the last. Each day was filled with new knowledge.
Most useful was the safe learning space, the location and group size for trust and depth. Also the balance of experiential and theory…
Thank you for your generosity and professionalism, it was a great experience being on the course.
The freedom of the 15 sand trays, which allowed me to learn about self and others… and Jean’s patient presence which held me throughout.
Thank you Jean for your skill, patience, information but, mostly, your presence.
I found Jean very encouraging, understanding and a very gentle tutor. I am so glad I found sand therapy, it has helped me become who I am meant to be.
The whole experience and process was very powerful and yet gentle. I know I have grown and changed for the better since I started the course…
Thank you for a rich learning experience.
